KAP started its activities in September, 1954, in a little plant, making the first MR series of electric switch (mirimrutor), being the pioneer in that type of switch (micro-switch) for the industries.
In 1960, changed its installation to a new plant, where it was possible to increase the production, to better serve the highly growing demand. It was also in this year that the electric switch MC series was introduced, the first named as "microrutor", KAP registered trademark and alias of fast action electric switch, or micro-switch.
In 1973, changed its installation to the current plant, where started the production lines modernization process, launching several product lines, this way extending its market share and offering complete "packages" of components for industrial automation. The success history of a 100% Brazilian Company leader in its industry for more than 50 years.
